Hi,

how can I prevent files with certain extensions from being added to the catalog over and over again? My old Minolta has always created *.mrw and *.thm files and IMatch add both but I don't want to add the THM files.

I know that there is a topic on this in the IMatch help. The dialog where you can configure file types, allows you to dismiss some file types from being imported.

1) Edit > Preferences -> File Formats
2) Find your file format
3) Edit...
4) Uncheck "Enabled" option

Topic in the help: "Enabling and Disabling Formats".

The .thm files are special because they often contain legacy IPTC and/or EXIF data. If you don't need them for any other purpose, just delete them after IMatch has indexed your files (and imported whatever metadata was in the THM).
