Title: How to Write a Description of a Collection in Collection Properties
Post by: BanjoTom on December 29, 2016, 04:59:13 AM
I've made a temporary collection of images that I marked with Red pins -- all cartoon images, in this case.  This was very useful because I've been able to systematically share the images, just one at a time, and unpin them after I do so, thus removing them from the collection, so that I don't mistakenly share the same image twice.

But here's my question: at the bottom of the collections panel (see attached image) there is a "Properties" section where it LOOKS as if one can write in a description of the collection.  Yet I don't see how or where to edit that description.  Can that be done?  And how?  This may already be explained somewhere in the IMatch Help, but I could not quickly find it. . .  :P

Indeed the description properties of collections are not editable, as far as I know:

These descriptions are not user-editable. IMatch may display system-generated descriptions there for some collections.
You can use a category instead to hold your files, and then use a description with that category.
