Title: Restrict images to only those within current bounds of the map panel
Post by: jch2103 on November 01, 2016, 10:51:41 PM
This request is related to https://www.photools.com/community/index.php?topic=6033.msg41658#msg41658

This request would allow restricting returned images to only those with coordinates within the current map panel extent. Currently, one must create a GPS Filter to find all files within a given range of a coordinate, location or file. A filter based on map extent would be much simpler for the user and would avoid the need to estimate distances (range) based on the current zoom factor of the map panel. For example, the user could zoom the map panel to Paris, or Utah, etc., and trigger a filter to show all images that are within the current extent.

IMatch 2017 allows you to select files on a map by drawing a circle or a polygon. This should work just nicely.
