Title: deleting empty keywords
Post by: imfan on October 17, 2016, 08:36:04 AM
Hello,

I was trying to delete empty keywords - keywords which are not assigned to any picture, not just one keyword, a lot, but I could not find a way, except selecting them one by one.

Is the any way I can achieve "select all empty keywords and delete them" in one way?   I can not program or script!

Thanks for your help in advance.

Set the dropdown to no in the properties of keywords.
see attachement.

I assume you mean that you want to remove categories under @Keywords which have no files assigned?

As sinus points out above, @Keywords by default retains empty categories. This way you can later reuse them for drag & drop etc.
If you change the setting sinus shows in his screen shot, and then manually refresh the @Keywords category (via the context menu), all child categories without files will be removed immediately. And also in the future.

Press <F1> to open the corresponding help topic. It explains this and all the other options available for @Keywords.
