Title: Number of files in "Design & Print"
Post by: sinus on December 10, 2015, 02:39:04 PM
I would like to have a variable in the "Design & Print", to find out:

- the number of files used totally
- the number of files used on every page

Means, I could add for example in the footer a line like this:

"This page has xx files from total xx files".

The more important variable would be of course the "total files".

BTW: if we print only 10 images, this seems not so important, but if you print 120 images, this would be quite interesting.

Do you mean the number of unique files, or the total number?
You can print the same file multiple times on the same page. Would that still count as one file?

Yes, the number of unique files.

If I have 10 different images, but 1 files I have printed 3 times, then the number should be only 10 images.

Background:
I want deliver, say, 50 images, then I deliver usually 50 images and an overview. This overview is a pdf from "Design & Print".
Then maybe I design 5 images twice or 3 times, makes them bigger or create only a cut from an image, this is very good possible with your print modul.

But I want say for the client (and print it on the pages), "you will get 50 images" from us. And that is why I would like to print the number of the unique files.

I hope, you understand, what I mean.

I have added the variables

{Print.Document.Files}
{Print.Document.Files.Unique}

and

{Print.Page.Files}
{Print.Page.Files.Unique}

for the next release.
