Title: Search capability as in 3.6
Post by: enzonz on July 30, 2013, 12:13:58 PM
I'm trying to perform a search as I do very frequently in 3.6. I have 1000s of files that are yet to be cataloged/put in categories etc and I rely on information in the file name.

My 50,000 images are all motor racing and in 3.6 if I want to find images of John Surtees at Le Mans in 1964 I use         +mans +surtees +1964

Try  as I might I can't see a way to do this in Beta 5. I've found the Filename Filter but search criteria are 'OR' – I need 'AND'.

Thanks
Andrew

Hi

Have you tried the Search Bar in the File Window (on the right side above the thumbnails)?
Default is AND - but you can change this (see help for more details).

Maybe you tried it with the 'old' syntax and have used the + signs?
Main thing is, it works now  ;)
