Is there a way to make category names (not child) either bold, a color, or both. I spent time looking for a way but it's not obvious to me. - Thanks, Bob
NOTE: IMatch is running flawlessly in Windows 10 64 bit. The Windows 10 upgrade from 7 went fine, very quick!
Did you check the Properties box under the Categories pane? Note that you can control whether child categories inherit parent settings. See the Help for more specifics.
The term to look for in the help is category color-coding. It's very versatile and there are many cool features linked to it. Check it out.
You can also color-code folders, by the way. No bold, though.
Thank you jch2103 and Mario. I've got it! Seems the older I get the less obvious the obvious becomes. And I do appreciated your help - Best, Bob
Mario: Can we change my profile name from im5beta to 'Imageman' or 'Bob Lund'
You can change your display name in your profile (in the menu bar above).

I doubt that many users really read the entire help file to learn about every feature implemented in IMatch. Most users learn 'enough' to do what they need with IMatch and then stop. Of course there are probably tons of features they miss, things which can improve their workflow and save them lots of time. Or just allow them to do 'more'.
There is not really much I can do about this. I remind users to spend some time with the help, browse the
Visual Index to learn about all major features in IMatch etc. And I add new articles to the IMatch Knowledge Base (http://www.photools.com/category/imatch5/imatch-5-knowhow/) frequently, highlighting specific features or offer tips & tricks for workflow improvements.
The knowledge base article Use Visual Clues to Improve Your Workflow (http://www.photools.com/3594/visual-clues-improve-workflow/) explains how color-coding for categories or folders can improve your workflow a lot. Maybe check it out.

I can't find anything about display name in my profile. Am I the only one?
i may probably see more fields because I'm the Admin around here.
But when I go to my profile > Account settings I see a user name which cannot be changed and a name, which is what the forum software displays for your posts. I don't know if normal users can change this.
Can't see it.
OK. I have changed Bob's display name to 'Imageman' now.
