Title: The (new) variables works perfectly
Post by: sinus on July 08, 2015, 11:16:20 PM
Hi Mario
Only a short statement  :D

Your new variables (Monitor-Resolution / LongEdge...) works perfectly.

Specially the "File.LongEdge" (and ShortEdge) works perfectly.
In the past it was a problem (as you know  ;D) when the image was horizontal or vertical the output of file.width did not really help.

But now IMatch looks simply for the longes edge, independent of vertical or horizontal, and displays the wished result.

In my case I display the size of an image (the pixel) with a fruit, the bigger the fruit, the bigger the image  ::) 8)

So, as you can see in my attachement, although this images are vertical and horizontal, both shows the same fruit, in this case a pinapple.  8)

Great, before this was not possible or only with a lot of tricks and curious ways.
Thanks, Mario, for this good solution!

This flexibility is pretty unique to IMatch - you won't get that in products like L... or even one of the big DAM systems.
