Title: Rating * in other colors?
Post by: HaWo on June 06, 2015, 10:04:03 AM
Is it possible to make all 5 ratings * together with other colors? Adjustable from users?

I use XMP-labels and it is many times difficult to see the *. I have tested many colors (one of the best is a dark-color)
, but not all I like it.
At the moment I need this green - see screenshot.

I know my English is bad. I hope my idea not!

This is not the same, it is solved for me:

You cannot change the color of the rating starts - these a bitmaps provided by me.
You can change the intensity of the label displayed in the File Window via Edit > Preferences > File Window: XML Label color intensity.

QuoteRatings = it's a pity
A rating is a numerical value in the range [-1-5] and is never associated with a color. The color of the rating icons used in IMatch has been carefully chosen to produce sufficient contrast for all standard label colors, and most other colors as well.

Since the colors you use for reach label are completely up to you, why don't you just use a bit darker label color to make the rating stars better visible? The color you associate with a label has no impact on the label itself. You can even use a red color for labels with the name "blue".
