Title: Disable the "Confirm File Deletion" step
Post by: Imageman on May 09, 2015, 05:14:38 PM
I want to disable the "Confirm File Deletion" step. It is an added step in my workflow. If I mistakenly delete a file I can retrieve it from the recycle bin. Please tell me how to do this - Thank you, Bob

If I understand you correctly, you won't use the Reject rating but want to delete files physically?
And you want to suppress the safety prompt when deleting files as well?

You can disable the support for reject and then <Ctrl>+<Del> will delete the file.

Far easier is to press <Ctlr>+<Del> and then <SPACE> to acknowledge the dialog. I never thought about this, it's just automatic.

What I'd really love Mario is to hit 'just' the delete key for the file to be deleted - Thanks, Bob

<Del> marks the file as rejected. You can then undo the deletion via <Del> again. Or delete all files marked as rejects via the Commands > Delete Rejected Files. As I said above, if you don't want this, disable rejects under Edit > Preferences > Application: Reject Files.

Then you can <Del> to delete file with warning, and <Ctrl>+<Del> to delete files without any further warning.

Just configure IMatch the way you want.
