Title: Can you no longer scan images directly into iMatch5 like in 3.6?
Post by: Panther on October 21, 2014, 07:13:22 AM
I used to do a lot of scanning of images directly into iMatch 3.6, but I do not see any commands or possibilities of doing that with iMatch5 (and couldn't find anything in the help file about that concept).  Was that capability removed from iMatch5 for some reason?

If so, I guess I can just do the scanning outside of iMatch and then dump the files into the folder(s) being managed by iMatch, so I guess it's not a big deal, but it sure was convenient before.

Since each scanner comes with software en masse and Windows supports scanning right out of the box too, Id did see no reason duplicate this features in IMatch. Just scan your files into a folder already indexed by IMatch, and IMatch will pick up the files automatically.
