Title: Filter Timeline for time range
Post by: ben on August 08, 2014, 10:05:33 PM
Hi,

is it possible to filter the timeline view for a certain time range?

Example:
1.6.1990 - 1.6.1999 should bring up all pictures taken within these 10 years.
A picture taken in january 1990 should not be shown.

Thanks,
Ben

I don't know of a way you can filter the timeline tree but you can CTRL+Click on the dates in the timeline tree so the file window only shows the files in those dates.

The timeline is an implicit filter.
The timeline supports multiple selection modes. You can select individual nodes (days, years, ...) or ranges. Please see the help for detailed information.

I did read the help before my post, but couldn't find the answer to my question. There are several "selecting" options already provided which work well.

Probably i didn't explain well what i tried to do.
I think it would be convenient to filter the timeline by using the timeline-filter. So, one could type e.g. 1.6.1990 - 1.6.1999 (see my pic attached).
