Title: Categories Panel: shortcut for "next" and "previous"
Post by: PoeschelA on July 02, 2014, 05:24:41 PM
Hi, could you please add short cut to "next" and "prev", because my work flow is searching for a phrase (typing  :)) - if the first result isn't the best I would like to press a short cut for next ... as long as the correct is marked and than press space for selection. Thanks!

+1. It would be convenient to be able to use the cursor keys here.

Cursor keys will not work or require extra effort because cursor keys in Windows tree controls are used to expand/collapse items (there are even some Ctrl or Shift combinations with cursor keys).

I used <F3> for next and <Shift>+<F3> for previous. The <F3> key is kinda standard for next/prev in Windows now. It clashes with the <F3> used in IMatch for running shortcuts, but I figured that nobody really runs favorites which the find bar in the category panel is active. If this is the case, we'll hear about it and then I may need to assign another keyboard shortcut.
