Title: Non Imatch but Windows Problem: AlbumArt Files are recreated in my folders
Post by: Menace on July 03, 2013, 06:46:49 PM
Hi,

I am starting to sort and clean up my mp3-Files. Some Folders have a strange behavour: After deleting AlbumArt jpgs, they recreated after a few seconds. Know somebody the program, which cause this issue?

I don't want this jpgs, because I have my covers in my mp3-files.

Apparently Windows Media Player or some other player is (re-)creating them. I think there's an option somewhere in the program (which ever program it is) to stop this, but I don't know where it is...

Sounds like MediaPlayer is automatically retrieving the AlbumArt. This is configured as something named "Automatically update local files..."

The strange thing is, that no Media Player is "on" and not all "AlbumArts" were recreated.

I have to check the backroundprocesses. I hate software, which doesn't ask if I want a backround or Autostart-Process.  >:(

Thank all for helping!  :)
