Title: Category "No Keywords" for only a sub-folder
Post by: ERBRO on April 29, 2025, 09:53:40 AM
Hello,

How can I get all the files from only a sub-folder with the category "No Keywords" ?

Sorry if the question is trivial but I could not find out.

Best ragards

This workflow category analyzes the entire database to find files without keywords.
You could change the formula to AND with a specific folder, but I doubt this is what you want to do...?

What do you want to achieve?
See all files without keywords in a specific folder?
Ad-hoc or permanent?

To see all files without keywords in the current folder, just use this filter in the Filter Panel: Value Filter (https://www.photools.com/help/imatch/index.html#a_valuefilter?dl=valuefilter).

This filter searches the current scope (folder, category, ...) for all files with at least one value in hierarchical keywords.
And then inverts the result to show only files without keywords.

This works for all tags, of course.

If you need this filter often, store it and then recall it from the Filter Panel or the Quick Filter Ribbon (https://www.photools.com/help/imatch/index.html#fw_basics.htm?dl=quick-filter).

This is an example straight from the help system:
