Title: Transfer of facial recognition data
Post by: Robert_S on April 20, 2025, 01:18:09 AM
I use iMatch on 2 PCs, one with only an on-board graphics card on which all my images are stored and a more powerful one on which I carry out image processing and also iMatch face recognition. Only the images currently being edited are stored there.

I have now transferred the people to the other PC via the *.JSON file, which has worked so far. The images from which the program extracts the data for facial recognition are of course NOT available on this second computer. Is the data collected from the images for recognizing the persons transferred to the other computer via the *.JSON file?

No. This data is stored in the IMatch database. Why don't you just transfer the entire database?
Add the photos in editing to your database and when done, transfer both the database and the finished images to your other PC. Relocate the new folder to tell IMatch it is now on a different computer.
