Title: Auto stack
Post by: wachdam on December 30, 2013, 01:34:07 PM
Hello,

I am trying to have auto stack performed automatically when indexing new raw+jpeg images .

Looked through the db preferences but did not find any option to do so .

Is there another way but selecting all images and performing a manual stacking/auto stack after the indexing took place ?

Best Pierre

IMatch does not stack files during the indexing process.
You can use the Recently Added | Today collection (for example) to see all files added recently. Select them with Ctrl+A and then Commands > Relations > Auto Stack.

Hi Mario,

Many thanks for your fast feedback .

Would you see an option to make the auto-stack an (optional) part of the indexing process .

For users shooting rw+jpeg, i do not see the point of keeping the files unstacked ; maybe some other users will object .

ps cheers up for the v3 db migration successes piling up .

Best Pierre

I suggest you add this as a feature request in the appropriate board.
This way it will not be forgotten and other users can chime in.
I use that list to plan features to add for the versions following the initial release. Quite a lot of cool and exciting things in that board already.
