Title: Filter - how to stop refreshing
Post by: ERBRO on January 15, 2025, 07:23:58 PM
Hello,

I use filter to review pictures without annotations (to check the faces that where not recognize by the face recognation algorithm).

Each time I add an annotation, the filter is indeed recalculated.

Is there a way to avoid the recalculation of the filter so that the initial filtering stay static ?

Best regards
Eric

One way to achieve that would be to be to send your filtered scope to a Result Window (Ctrl+G, R).

So if you have a scope of 100 files, and you apply the filter for no faces, resulting in a scope of 10 files; if you now select all of those files (Ctrl+A), and press (Ctrl+G, R), the 10 files will be sent to a result window, where they will effectively be static (the filter is automatically paused in that result window).

You can unpause the filter there, if you want to see the files to which you have added annotations, disappear, leaving only those that still need work, but the original 10 files are still there, and will reappear if you pause the filter again.
