I have updated from version 2021.18.4 to 2023.12.2.
After starting the new version, I get the error messages "....MFPlat.DLL not found..." and "....MF.DLL not found ...." (see attachment).
What is the reason for this?

This is not an IMatch DLL.
It is part of the Windows Media Foundation framework that is used by IMatch and other Windows applications to play media files like videos (IMatch 2023 introduced a media player about a year ago, when IMatch 2023 came out).
Do you still use Windows 10?
Or a "N" version of Windows?
In that case you might have to install the Media Foundation framework manually.
I don't really know, since in about 12 months since IMatch 2023 was released, no other user ever reported this problem.

yes, the system on which the error occurred is a Windows 10 N. I had overlooked that.
Since this system is a HyperV VM with which I am running other tests, I do not want to make any changes to this system.
I will therefore cancel the tests with IM on this system and install IM on another VM.
