Title: Clicking Loupe icon does not start file search (though search string specified)

File search.jpg
Clicking the Loupe icon does not start the search for a file having (in this case) 1130 in the file name.
It is necessary to click in the search field and press return.

Is this consistent Windows behavior?

The loupe is for cancelling a running search and, via the drop-down, to review and set search options.
Clicking the loupe has never started the search, it was always started via the <Enter> key.

File a feature request if you want the loupe to actually trigger and cancel the search.
