Title: File Count Possible For Show Only Categories In Scope

I'm specifically referring to the Category Filter, wherein there is the check-box-option to Show only categories in scope.  This is almost perfect for my needs, however, I'm looking for the added functionality that the Value Filter(s) provide - the actual number of files that have a given value.  How could I effect this with the Category Filter?  Thanks.
