I've tried trying the new album view, but I can't see it.
I have a folder without files, only with folders that have photos inside.
I have show files with hierarchy disabled.
Select the main folder and in the command palette I use the set folder thumbnail option.

Nothing happens.

I am doing something wrong?

Hmm...

Check Edit menu > Preferences > File Window. Is the Album View enabled? (in the Window section)?
It should just work when the conditions are met (no files in the folder, hierarchical display disabled, at least one sub-folder).

Might it be that you mistyped the title of this topic?...or are you actually still on IMatch 2023.5.6?

The File Window Album View feature was delivered in 2023.6.2, released today.

I just tried it under 2023.6.2, but I'm afraid it's not working for me either. The File Window turns completely white when I select a Folder that has no files (with Subfolders containing files):

The area where the File Window Caption Bar and the Ribbon should be, is also a white background. Clicking on a Sub-Folder shows the File Window as usual.

With the Use Album View option turned off, the File Window is a grey background, and the File Window Caption Bar and Ribbon are both shown.

I restarted IMatch (with one of the Subfolders selected, so a normal File Window was shown), then turned on Debug Logging right after startup, clicked the parent folder to get the White background, and turned Debug Logging back off. There were no errors or warnings given in between where I changed the LogLevel:

I think this is a problem with the installer. it appears some files are missing that are required for this app. I'll have a look.

Sorry, it wasn't in the latest version.. ::)
The same thing happens to me as Tveloso, I have a white screen.

I have identified this as a problem caused by the new installer software. And sloppy testing on my part (https://www.photools.com/community/Smileys/photools/ashamed02.gif)
I'll ship the 2023.6.4 shortly.
