Title: How top open the exiftool output window
Post by: DONUSA on November 04, 2023, 05:50:59 AM
I've got a yellow triangle.  The popup message says to check the "exiftool output window".  Not obvious how I do that and can't find it explained in any of the post that contain the string "exiftool output window".

Sorry for the rookie question, but I am stumped.  By the way, I tried to rescan and the yellow triangle remains.

View menu > Panels > Output Panel.
See: The Output Panel (https://www.photools.com/help/imatch/panel_output.htm?dl=hid-1) for more information.

If ExifTool encountered a problem, the tooltip of the yellow triangle should also show the error message.
It will also have been logged to the log file (https://www.photools.com/help/imatch/#im_logfile.htm).

See also The Warning Icon (https://www.photools.com/help/imatch/fw_basics.htm?dl=hid-19) for related info.

All files with Exiftool Errors (https://www.photools.com/help/imatch/dashboard.htm?dl=h-12) are also shown in the Dashboard (https://www.photools.com/help/imatch/dashboard.htm?dl=hid-1) for your convenience.
