Title: Syncing metadata in Imatch
Post by: frlindla on January 24, 2022, 12:52:23 PM
Lightroom has a sync metadata option where you can choose which metadata to sync. I know Imatch has copy and paste metadata. But does this mean that Imatch copy everything or can you choose?

The Metadata Panel has options to copy selected metadata (see the link above by sinus), especially Tips for Copying Metadata (https://www.photools.com/help/imatch/#md_panel.htm?dl=h-28)

You have very fine control about which data you copy with Copy/Paste Attributes command, see Copying Attributes and Metadata Between Files (https://www.photools.com/help/imatch/#paste_attributes.htm)

IMatch's unique File Relations: Versioning (https://www.photools.com/help/imatch/#rel_versions.htm) concept usually means that you don't need to manually copy data between files, versioning does that for you.
