Title: Dashboard->Files with Problems->Files without thumbnail
Post by: Darius1968 on December 16, 2021, 09:08:36 AM
The ZIP-file-attachment is a JPEG, for which IMatch's dashboard has flagged as a problem-file, without a thumbnail.
I issued a force update (Ctrl+Shift+F5), without success in obtaining a thumbnail.
Windows File Explorer does have a thumbnail for this image, however.

So, what's wrong with this JPEG, that File Explorer produces a thumbnail, but IMatch can't?

I could not open this file in Photoshop, see the message in the attachement.
Maybe that is the reason?

Photoshop refuses to load the file (file damaged) and the 3rd party image library in IMatch also returns an error. File is broken.
Open the file in whatever software you have used to create it and re-save the file to resolve the problem.

Hmmm...Interesting.
But, why would it be, that the file could be opened in Microsoft's Paint, but not in Photoshop?

I cannot answer that. Please contact Microsoft support and Adobe support.
