Title: Pictures of a country
Post by: javiavid on March 30, 2021, 07:08:26 PM
Is it possible in the categories to see the photos that belong to a country?
Provinces and cities work fine, but I can't do it with countries.

I get a list of the provinces.

Usually IMatch creates a data-driven category named IMatch Standard Categories|Location.
The levels are based on the contents of the country, city and location tag contained in your files. You see this information e.g. in the Metadata Panel when using the Default layout.

This data is either manually filled by you or by reverse geocoding in IMatch.

Yes, I'm using this data-driven but when I click on the name of the country I don't see the pictures of the country, I see the "separators". with the name of the provinces.

Do I have something else configured?

You have enabled the hierarchical display mode for the File Window (check the toolbar).
So the File Window groups the files by the selected element and its child elements. See The Hierarchical Display Mode (Displaying files in sub-folders, child categories etc.) (https://www.photools.com/help/imatch/#fw_basics.htm?dl=h-33)

You have selected singapore, which has two child categories: bishan and other. This is exactly what you see in the File Window.
Disable the hierarchical mode to see all files in singapore and its child categories combined into one set of files.
