Title: Add face annotation without taking it as source to build the person profile
Post by: CauTrindade on November 19, 2020, 02:17:43 AM
When adding faces and when the face is not recognizable as a person, iMatch creates that notation with a small ball on top, and it doesn't consider that image for reference to that person, right ?

This is great, but there are so many faces that look weird or low quality (affects the face references for a future scan), or has something in front of it like the person's arm, hand, etc, or the face is in a weird angle and yet, iMatch don't add that ball on top (and if I'm not wrong, it, therefore, uses it to build the face profile), SO, what if

We can choose by a check box that we want to create manually a face annotation that should not be considered for building the face characteristics for a future scan ?

You can view and pick the images IMatch uses to train comfortably in the The Face Manager (https://www.photools.com/help/imatch/#people-face-manager.htm) See the help topic for details.

But only the faces marked as "train" are used to build the face profile (or whatever is the name for a face information used in scan) ?

The trained faces are used to compare faces to figure out the best matching person.
