Title: Converting "Ignored Face"
Post by: Aubrey on May 22, 2020, 01:41:38 PM
Working on people...
going through files I have some ignored faces (single face in image) i.e. square with diagonal line through it. I hit F2 and select a name. The name is not accepted square remains the same, with "?" underneath.

I find that I need to move the "green square" slightly,  blue tick appears and then I can select the person.

A little strange that I need to move square before change can happen.
Not a big deal - but I wanted to document it...

Aubrey.

Is this repeatable will all faces you have rejected?
How did you reject them, using which commands or steps?

Which IMatch version are you using?

Did you check the log file (https://www.photools.com/help/imatch/#im_logfile.htm) for errors and warnings?

Database diagnosis shows no problems?

Using 2020_5_4
I'm not rejecting faces, I'm trying to change a face that appears to have previously been rejected, in another session, to a known person.

I have run diagnostics. I had 50 warnings on faces.
As I continue work I'll see if I can repeat the issue...

If I just hit "I" again the face is no longer rejected (goes from the X through it to the ? below it). Have you tried that?

Sorry, I wrote rejected. I meant ignored.

No further issues.
Looks like after running diagnostics issues disappeared - no surprise there  :-[
