Title: problem after SW-update
Post by: aki-bs on May 09, 2019, 12:58:16 PM
I don't know what happens. But after the latest SW-update I get the message, that my database will be converted.

Now IMATCH shows to me, that all my folder and files are not available. How can I fix this?

That an IMatch update also updates the database is normal. Nothing to worry there.
IMatch just informs you, in case you have older IMatch versions installed somewhere else.

This has nothing to do with all your files being off-line.
Have you moved your files to another disk? Installed a Windows upgrade perhaps?

Just relocate your drive I: (right-click the MULTIMEDIA ARCHIV and choose "Relocate" and relocate from I: to I:) so IMatch knows again where to find them.

See Off-line Folders and Files (https://www.photools.com/help/imatch/#offline-files.htm)

I haven't moved my files to another disk and I haven't installed a Windows upgrade.

The relocation helps - thanks a lot for your quick help.

It seems that the media serial number of your I: drive has changed, then. For whatever reason.
