Title: Question: Software for documentation?
Post by: voronwe on December 04, 2015, 09:12:48 AM
Hi

Because I need to do a documentation for a Software, I'd like to ask to Mario:

What tools are you using to generate the help-file for IMatch?

And, because the documentation I have to write should be platform independent (should be usable in Linux too): Does this tool also generates the documentation as html?

The source of the help file is HTML and CSS, which is then compiled using Microsoft's help compiler to produce the CHM file.
For platform independence I would always go HTML and CSS.
Get a good HTML editor with spell checking (Brackets or the WebStorm or Notepad++) and then let fly.
