Post by: Gerd on October 03, 2013, 11:08:57 PM
Hi,

how can I see, which workspace ist activ? The ID-Plate is for each workspace the same.

Is there a description, which views, Panels, filters are linked to a workspace?

The current workspace name is shown in the IMatch title bar in the top left corner of the application (see attached screen shot)

The currently selected workspace is displayed in the caption bar, and also checked in the workspace menu.
I don't think that this information is so important that it should be advertised all over, using of precious screen estate.
My assumption is that Most users will be immediately able to tell which workspace they are using, because the use different panels or screen layouts.

Hi Mario,
I think about the use for different issues. If you keep different documents in one database, then this is a possiblilty to make it better visible for different users, where they are busy with. I will place a post for future request to get it displayed in the ID-Plate.

I will add a new application variable {Application.Workspace} for that purpose. And allow the ID Plate to parse application variables.
