When in the viewer, is there a way to select 2 non-adjacent images to compare?
Example: I have 6 files in the viewer and I want to compare image 2 and 5?
You select the files you want to see in the Viewer in the File Window. The Viewer has no feature to select files. Just select the two files you want to compare in the file window and then switch the Viewer to a layout with 2 files.
If I understand that correctly, and you want to compare 2 non-adjacent images, then you can do that well (I often do that):
Inside the viewer you can move the image forward or backward with the + and - keys.
In your case you can press + two or three times in a row on picture 5, then both pictures are next to each other and you can compare them well (e.g. with L2).
Thanks, Mario and Sinus. I'm using the viewer as Sinus describes, but I wanted to be certain I was not missing a hidden gem!
It's not a must-have, but I will put in a feature request
