Title: Viewer: Enlarging image should enlarge around the center of the image. No?
Post by: ubacher on November 20, 2014, 01:05:23 PM

When an image is enlarged in the viewer it should enlarge around the center of the image.
(When reducing there are issues since following the rule that the center should stay may then only
show a part of the image.)

To test: Place an annotation in the middle of the visible image. Then press Ctrl + to enlarge.
The annotation should stay in the center as the image is enlarged. It does not.

Pressing Ctrl-1 to enlarge to 100% stays centered only from Full-image display.

If, as I think, this worked OK before then this should be a bug report. If not it probably should be
a feature request.

Just been bothered by this again.
Can we move this to the bug report section please. (Can I move this myself?)

The dive zoom enlarges around the area you click. The rarely used manual zoom (which you use) does not change the position of the image.
You are a normal user, you cannot move posts. If you want the manual zoom behavior to change, consider adding a feature request. The current behavior is by design and not a bug.
