Playing around with the metadate panel in iMatch, I discovered that all pictures I made with my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 contain an Exif UserComment with something that looks like random text of exactly 5650 bytes lenght.

It's easy to remove it with the ExifCommand Processor tool. But I'm wondering why that tag was generated in the first place. Is it a bug in the camera software? Or can it contain som useful, but coded information and should not be deleted?

The ways of manufacturers can be mysterious indeed!

I wasn't clear: is the string identical in all the images or is the string different in each image?
