IMatch contains two powerful features to create contact sheets (index prints) and to batch process multiple images.
Batch Processing
IMatch contains a powerful batch processing module. This feature allows you to convert images in batch to other file formats, add text, copyright information, watermarks, background images and much, much more.
The output images can be resampled, enhanced, and saved in more than 50 file formats.
Using IMatch variables, you can add any type of text, EXIF and IPTC information, image attributes and IMatch properties to the converted images. This feature is extremely handy when you upload low-res versions of your images to a web server, or ship these images to your customers on CD-ROM. You can easily add your copyright statement, a © watermark, agency or photographer information and much more during the batch processing procedure.
The Contact Sheet Builder
Another powerful IMatch feature that comes in the box is the Contact Sheet Builder. This module allows you to create contact sheets from your images at any screen or print resolutions.
The layout of the contact sheets is fully customizable. You control the size of the thumbnails, and the number of rows and columns per sheet.
You can also add background images, borders, shadows, frames, and text anywhere on the sheet. Using variables, you can print IPTC and EXIF information next to each image, or image attributes like size, dimensions, or file name.
The resolution of the created contact sheets can be configured to match the screen, or any home or professional printer. Using the contact sheet builder to create pre-press ready images is no problem.
Working with Data
Both the Contact Sheet Builder and the Batch Processor fully support IMatch variables. This means that you can use all the data contained in your IMatch database, IPTC and EXIF information and image attributes to add text to your images and contact sheets.
Via variables, you have access to a variety of metadata:
User-defined IMatch properties
Image Attributes (size, dimensions, file name, ...)
IPTC Information
EXIF Information
User Variables
Application Variables
